Trevor Bayne, Rodney Childers to celebrate milestones at Martinsville

There will be a couple of milestones in Sunday's STP 500 at Martinsville Speedway: Roush Fenway Racing driver Trevor Bayne will make his 100th career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start, while Kevin Harvick's crew chief, Rodney Childers, will work his 500th Cup race.

Bayne, of course, is best known for winning the 2011 Daytona 500 in just his second career start, one day after he turned 20. It was a historic victory for Wood Brothers Racing, which had last won a race in 2001.

Childers has the one prize more coveted than a Daytona 500 trophy: He is a Sprint Cup championship crew chief, having won a title with Harvick in 2014. Harvick finished a close second last year and leads the points after five races this year.
