Not only does this coming weekend mark the start of the 2016 Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, it also marks the return of the Heroes in a Half Shell.

Yes, the Chase will share center stage at Chicagoland Speedway with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, who will be the title sponsor of Sunday's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at the 1.5-mile Joliet, Ill., track.

Sprint Cup regulars Danica Patrick, Regan Smith, Landon Cassill and Michael McDowell, along with  NASCAR XFINITY Series drivers Daniel Suarez and Darrell "Bubba" Wallace all will have TMNT-themed cars this weekend at Chicagoland.

Suarez, who drives for Joe Gibbs Racing, will pilot the No. 19 ARRIS/TMNT Michelangelo Toyota Camry, while  Roush Fenway Racing's Wallace will drive the No. 6 Shredder Ford Mustang, in the NASCAR XFINITY Series race "for an epic battle between #TeamTurtle and #TeamFoot."

Patrick is set to drive the No. 10 April O'Neil/Nature's Bakery Chevrolet SS in Sunday's main event.

Smith will be driving the No. 7 Nikko RC/TMNT Raphael Chevrolet for Tommy Baldwin Racing.  McDowell will drive the #TeamTurtle No. 95 Thrivent Financial/TMNT Donatello Chevrolet.  Cassill will pilot the No. 38 TMNT Bebop Ford for Front Row Motorsports.

"We are excited to add Regan, Michael and Landon to our partnerships in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race," said Anthony DiCosmo, Senior Vice President, Sports Marketing and Development, Nickelodeon. "Just as we did with last season's SpongeBob SquarePants 400 at Kansas Speedway, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 400 will continue to expand our relationship with NASCAR, while working with another best-in-class ISC track to give fans a unique and engaging race experience that the whole family can enjoy."
