NASCAR Fantasy Picks: Richmond International Raceway
NASCAR fantasy racing is headed to Richmond International Raceway for the Federated Auto Parts 400. This is the final race or drivers to earn their spot in the Chase for the Sprint Cup. Fantasy racing players should use this race to their advantage and find some sleepers.
Joey Logano
Logano has the best track record at Richmond International Raceway in his last four starts at the track with an average finish of 5.5. During that time he has scored two poles, two top five finishes and four top ten finishes and led 119 laps.
Logano is a high priced, high reward driver for this weekend as he will be starting in 12th position.

Ryan Newman and Jamie McMurray
Both Newman and McMurray are fighting for a Chase spot. Currently, McMurray holds the final spot and will start in the 4th position at Richmond International Raceway. Newman, who was hit with a penalty earlier this week after Darlington, will start 15th.
Both drivers have performed well at Richmond in their last four starts and after qualifying on Friday, it is easy to see that both of these drivers will be racing towards the front as they battle for the final Chase for the Sprint Cup playoff spot.
The Toyota’s
You can’t go wrong with either Denny Hamlin, starting first, Matt Kenseth, starting third, Martin Truex Jr., starting sixth, Kyle Busch starting ninth and Carl Edwards, starting 13th.
All four Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota’s and the Furniture Row Racing Toyota of Martin Truex Jr. will be strong at Richmond. They dominated the race in the spring here on the way to a win by Carl Edwards after bumping his teammate Kyle Busch out of the way in the last turn on the final lap. The Toyota’s will once again be contenders.
