He stood in a great, grassy courtyard, in an immense shadow cast by the CAA building, a monument to the commerce of stardom. After enduring an introduction by a disc jockey called Psycho Mike, Matt Kenseth took a seat under a canopy to receive the well-wishers and autograph-seekers.
