Matt Kenseth and sponsor Dollar General have both signed multi-year contract extensions to remain with Joe Gibbs Racing and the No. 20 JGR NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Toyota Camry, the team announced Saturday afternoon at Kentucky Speedway.

Kenseth has enjoyed considerable success with the JGR squad, winning seven races and posting 17 top-five and 30 top-10 finishes in 52 points races since the start of the 2013 season. The Wisconsin native finished second in points to Jimmie Johnson last year and is fourth heading into tonight's Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway.

Dollar General will be Kenseth's primary sponsor in 30 races next season -- including the Daytona 500 -- up from 27 this year and 17 in 2013.

"This sponsorship is great for our brand and drives business into 11,300 stores across 40 states," said Dollar General Chairman and CEO Rick Dreiling. "Matt Kenseth and Joe Gibbs are both proven winners and are both incredible ambassadors for the Dollar General brand. ... There's no greater exposure for Dollar General than the No. 20 leading the pack on a nationally televised sporting event."

"I would say that there's no greater testimony to our sport than the fact that we're extended with Rick and his team and Dollar General," said team owner Joe Gibbs. "When you think about it, this is one of the best run, most successful companies in America."

"It's obviously been a great fit for me," said Kenseth.
