One of open-wheel racing's most iconic tracks has been sold.

The Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course has been bought by Green Savoree Racing Promotions, which also owns the street circuit races in Toronto and St. Petersburg, Fla.

The track, located about an hour north of Columbus, Ohio, features a 2.4-mile, 15-turn course and a 2.25-mile, 13-turn circuit. It will celebrate its 50th season in 2011.

Terms of the deal between Green Savoree Racing and former owner TrueSports, Inc. were not disclosed, but TrueSports' offices and staff will be retained.
