Graf, Luhr win closest finish in ALMS history

Klaus Graf and Lucas Luhr won the Road Race Showcase on Saturday at Road America in the closest finish in American Le Mans Series history, with Graf edging Guy Smith by 0.112 seconds in the four-hour race.

Graf, from Germany, and Luhr, from Monaco, drove the Muscle Milk Aston Martin Racing entry.

Dyson Racing's Smith and Chris Dyson retained the lead in the LMP1 championship standings in their Lola-Mazda coupe. Autocon Motorsports' Tony Burgess and Chris McMurry finished third.

Risi Competizione's Jaime Melo and Toni Vilander topped the GT class in the new Ferrari F458 Italia.
