Five things to know: Setting up Sunday's Toyota Owners 400 at Richmond
Rain put a damper on things Saturday night at Richmond International Raceway, forcing NASCAR to postpone the start of the Toyota Owners 400 Sprint Cup Series race until Sunday.
Here are five things you should know before the 43-car field takes the green flag at 1 p.m. ET on FOX.
Changing Conditions
Teams prepared their cars during Friday's practice sessions to race under the lights at night, however with rain washing out the hopes of racing on Saturday, the race will now be run during the day.
In addition, the rubber that was built up from a full day of action on Friday has been washed away, leaving a green track.
There is a chance of rain for Richmond on Sunday morning, however the weather is expected to move out before the 1 p.m. start time.
Starting Lineup
Team Penske's Joey Logano won his third pole of the year and will start on the front row for the fifth time in eight races. Local favorite Denny Hamlin will start second in his Joe Gibb Racing Toyota.
Kurt Busch, AJ Allmendinger and Kevin Harvick round out the top five. For the full starting lineup, click here.
One Spot Better
Hendrick Motorsports' Jeff Gordon finished second in both Richmond races last season, but the veteran driver is looking for more this weekend.
Gordon told FOXSports.com's Tom Jensen the team has been gaining momentum over the past few weeks, but still has work to do before becoming a serious title contender.
A two-time Richmond winner, Gordon's last victory at RIR came in 2000. However, he has finished second in three out of the last five races.
Six for Six
There have been six different winners in the last six Richmond races, dating back to April 2012: Kyle Busch, Clint Bowyer, Kevin Harvick, Carl Edwards, Joey Logano and Brad Keselowski.
Will another driver add his name to that list and extend the streak to seven? Or will one of these prevail and put an end to it after all?
Missing Man
The one driver unable to do that is Kyle Busch.
When the green flag drops on Sunday's event, David Ragan will be behind the wheel of the No. 18 Toyota for the eighth-straight race.
Busch's four Sprint Cup wins at Richmond all came in the spring race and they all came in a row between 2009 and 2012.
While Ragan is expected to be in the car at Talladega Superspeedway next week, it now appears Erik Jones will hold the seat starting at Kansas Speedway in two weeks.
Ragan qualified 10th, while his JGR teammates Denny Hamlin (second) and Matt Kenseth (eighth) have shown speed. A win by any JGR driver would extend the streak to seven different winners, and also be the third for the team this year.
