Ferrari makes key management changes

Published Jan. 5, 2011 5:20 a.m. ET

Ferrari has made several key management changes in the wake of its dismal end to the last Formula One season.

Neil Martin has been hired away from Red Bull to head up the new operations research department and technical deputy Pat Fry will take on the additional role of head of race track engineering.

Ferrari says Chris Dyer, who previously was in charge of race track engineering, will have his company role ''redefined in the next few days.''

Dyer allegedly made the final call on a failed race strategy in the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in November.
