Edwards wins pole for Road America Nationwide race

Carl Edwards has qualified on the pole for Saturday's NASCAR Nationwide series race at Road America.

Edwards' Ford turned a fast lap of 108.076 mph in qualifying at the 14-turn road course early Saturday.

Jacques Villeneuve, the 1997 Formula One champion and 1995 Indianapolis 500 winner, qualified second in a Toyota. Colin Braun's Ford will start third.

Edwards, Brad Keselowski and Paul Menard will fly to Sonoma, Calif. for Sunday's Sprint Cup series race after racing at Road America on Saturday.
