David Gilliland to compete in Truck Series opener at Daytona

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver David Gilliland will compete for Ricky Benton Racing Enterprises in the season-opening NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Daytona International Speedway, the team announced.

Gilliland, who will drive the team's No. 92 Ford in the NextEra Energy Resources 250 on Feb. 20, is set to make his fourth career truck start and first since 2009.

"The trucks put on a great show and Daytona is such a special place," said Gilliland. "I am thrilled to have this opportunity to drive the RBR Ford."
