Camping World Truck Series drivers John Wes Townley and Spencer Gallagher weren't the only ones penalized by NASCAR on Wednesday.

In other penalties announced by the governing body, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Matt Kenseth received written warnings for failing pre-race inspection at Sonoma Raceway.

Earnhardt's No. 88 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet failed body template inspection twice before Friday qualifying at Sonoma for Sunday's Toyota/Save Mart 350.

Kenseth's No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota was issued its warning for failing two trips through the Laser Inspection Station before qualifying.
