Brian Scott to race for Joe Gibbs in 2011

Joe Gibbs Racing will run three full-time teams next season in the Nationwide Series with Brian Scott becoming the latest driver in the fold.

Scott has signed a two-year deal beginning in 2011.

J.D. Gibbs says the organization has the No. 19 and it's possible Scott will run that number, but a final decision has not been made.

Scott, 22, is competing in his first full season in Nationwide and is 14th in the standings. Scott ran the first 28 races under the Braun Racing banner this season before parting ways with the company. He’s running the balance of the races with Robby Benton. His best finish so far is third at Chicagoland Speedway in July.

Scott ran two full seasons in the Camping World Truck Series prior to graduating to Nationwide. Last season he finished a career-best seventh in the truck standings driving for Joe Scott. His only NASCAR win came in the 2009 May race at Dover.
