Brad Keselowski's pole-winning time for truck race disallowed
Brad Keselowski thought he'd won the pole for Saturday afternoon's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
In fact, the 2012 Sprint Cup Series champion even posed with the pole award in Victory Lane after qualifying ended.
Keselowski didn't lead the field to the green flag for the Hyundai Construction Equipment 200, however, as NASCAR ruled that Keselowski's pole-winning lap didn't begin until time had expired in the final round of knockout qualifying.
The change gave the pole to Red Horse Racing and 2014 Truck Series Rookie of the Year Ben Kennedy, who is the nephew of NASCAR chairman Brian France and great-grandson of the late NASCAR founder William H.G. "Big Bill" France.
With his best lap from the final qualifying round disallowed, Keselowski started 10th in his No. 29 Brad Keselowski Racing Ford. He finished 15th.
