Auto Club Speedway picks unique way to celebrate Richard Petty's 80th birthday
Richard Petty's birthday may fall on July 2, but Auto Club Speedway is getting the celebration started early.
In celebration of The King's 80th birthday, the Fontana, California track is offering a special ticket package for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race weekend, March 25-26.

The $99 ticket package includes a reserved seat for Sunday's Auto Club 400, a general admission ticket for Saturday's XFINITY Series race, pre-race pit pass and a $10 donation to the Petty Family Foundation/Victory Junction.
But here's the best part of all: The first 80 packages purchased will be invited to an exclusive autograph session with Petty, and the offer expires March 10.
That's a big way to honor the seven-time Cup champion.
