Tom Meents, 11-time Monster Jam World Champion, will attempt a never-before-done front flip in Max-D, a 10,500-pound Monster Jam truck, which would establish a Guinness World Records title. Meents will try this historic flip for the record books in front of more than 50,000 Monster Jam fans during the Monster Jam Path of Destruction live event at MetLife Stadium on Saturday, June 13, 2015.

The attempt will be adjudicated by Guinness World Records and is sanctioned by the United States Hot Rod Association, the official sanctioning body of Monster Jam. If successful, Meents will establish the record for the first front flip of a monster truck (minimum weight of 10,500 lbs).

Those in attendance will experience the awesome power of Max-D as Meents goes wheels up in his quest to pull off the biggest freestyle stunt ever attempted in a Monster Jam truck. Nearly eight months in development, the front flip teams science, technology, engineering, dirt and horsepower with a specially fabricated mechanical ramp designed to flip Max-D through the air in a forward 360-degree rotation. Max-D's 1,500 horsepower engine will need to hit 6,200 RPMs on the 250-foot approach to ensure the correct speed and projection prior to scaling the pitch of the 88-degree angle of the kicker ramp.

Meents, Monster Jam's most decorated Monster Jam World Finals champion, is no stranger to high octane risk-taking, as he already has back flipped and attempted to double-back flip Max-D in previous Monster Jam events. "It's always been a dream of mine to be the most extreme Monster Jam driver out there," says Meents.

"Everybody thinks front flipping a Monster Jam truck is impossible. But from the time I was a little boy, I've always focused on doing what it takes to make the impossible possible."

Monster Jam Path of Destruction at MetLife Stadium on June 13 features one of the most elite fields of Monster Jam trucks ever assembled. Twenty of the most popular Monster Jam trucks will battle against one another in racing and freestyle competitions with jumps, wheelies, donuts, cyclones and more.

Fans wanting to witness this historical moment live in person can purchase tickets through the MetLife Stadium Box Office, Ticketmaster retail outlets, online at Ticketmaster.com or charge by phone 1-800-745-3000. For more information on Monster Jam, log on to www.MonsterJam.com.
