SnoCross: Watch snowmobile riders take on their version of Supercross
The Monster Energy Supercross riders will be back in action Saturday night, where they will be faced with dirt and sand sections around a course in Anaheim, California.
One element that they will not have to face, however -- being on the West Coast of the USA -- is snow, which is currently bucketing down in the Northeastern states of America.
We’re not sure what a Supercross event in the snow would look like but, fortunately, we do have something called SnoCross.
Every bit just as crazy as the Supercross riders, these SnoCross riders race in the snow on snowmobiles. That’s about where the differences end. Just like in Supercross, these riders line up side by side and then fight for the holeshot, and then turn multiple laps on a course which features various jumps, rhythm sections and other obstacles for the riders to tackle.
