Juliana Daniell named new Miss Supercross

Feld Motor Sports announced that Juliana Daniell will be the new Miss Supercross for the 2016 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season.

Daniell will make her debut as Miss Supercross on Jan. 9th when Monster Energy Supercross visits Anaheim, California for the opening race of the 2016 season at Angel Stadium.

Daniell’s most recent job before becoming Miss Supercross was a cheerleader for the Atlanta Hawks NBA franchise. She also served as a Blue Crew member for the NHL’s Atlanta Thrashers and a Tomahawk team member for MLB’s Atlanta Braves. The Atlanta native is also an experienced IFBB Bikini Pro competitor, a two-time Miss Bikini Olympia contestant and a two-time Arnold Classic Bikini International invitee.

“I am so gratefull to be named Miss Supercross and I’m excited to meet all the incredible fans of the sport this season,” said Daniell. "I love interacting with the people who cheer on all athletes, and I can't wait to share in the supercross fans' passion for the most exciting and fastest growing motorsport. These riders are truly exceptional athletes and I'm honored for the opportunity to bring attention to their talents.”

Daniell will be the face of Monster Energy Supercross – serving as the spokesmodel for the series and a representative for promotional efforts. She will be not only hold the 30 second board to start each Main Event and join the top three finishers on the podium after each race, but she will also lead social media efforts for the series.

"With her highly respected status in the fitness world and years of experience interacting with fans across virtually all major sports, Juliana will be a great addition to Monster Energy Supercross as Miss Supercross," said Dave Prater, Director of Supercross. "We're looking forward to introducing her to the entire racing community in Anaheim."

The entire 2016 Monster Energy Supercross season will air live on FOX Sports, which includes two races on the FOX network broadcast channel, as well as the FOX Sports Go app.
