PGA Tour player's pantless shot got him in trouble with Under Armour
Gary Woodland isn't the most well-known player on the PGA Tour, given his standing as the 68th-ranked golfer in the world. He does, however, hit some of the longest drives in golf, ranking second on tour in driving distance.
In addition to hitting golf balls really far, he also takes his pants off to hit shots out of hazards. Well, he did it once, and it got a lot of attention on the Internet.
The pants came off for this shot ...

The shot also upset his sponsor, Under Armour. Not because he took off his clean white pants to hit his ball out of the hazard, but because he didn't show that he was wearing Under Armour underwear.
"The next day, [Under Armour] wanted to know why I wasn't wearing Under Armour underwear," Woodland said, via Business Insider. "I said 'I was!' Their underwear is some of the best stuff they have."
While Woodland very well may have been wearing their underwear, there wasn't enough proof for their liking. That's because the only branding is on the waistband, which wasn't visible because of his untucked shirt.
Next time Woodland takes his pants off to hit a shot on television, Under Armour would prefer if he tucks his shirt in.
"They said, 'next time, make sure to tuck your shirt in,'" he said.
No sane person tucks their shirt into their underwear, so it's easy to understand why Woodland opted not to. Furthermore, it probably would have restricted his swing a bit, preventing him from hitting the incredible shot that he did.
