Cheating women: Tiger sexiest golfer

Plenty has been written dissecting Tiger Woods' game. But there isn't much to criticize about his game. After all, the nice guys finish last; the cheaters always win.

In a survey conducted by the web site Victoria Milan, a world-renowned expert in what “married & attached” women are looking for when it comes to committing an affair, golf’s most infamous bad boy is also the most desirable when it comes to getting back at that cheating boyfriend, igniting that flame missing from their marriage, or just having a good ol’ fashioned exciting adulterous roll in the hay.

The survey, the results of which were released Tuesday, surveyed “3,225 female cheaters” — yup, the site’s news release used that language — found that 27 percent of respondents said Woods is the sexiest golfer taking part in the British Open later this week. To his credit, Masters champ Adam Scott gave Woods a run for his money with 25 percent of the vote. The only other golfers to earn at least 10 percent of the vote were Sergio Garcia at 14 and Luke Donald at 11.

Clearly these ladies are quite familiar with Woods’ legendary infidelity scandal in 2009. But do they know he’s now BF/GF with skier Lindsey Vonn? Do they care? Should she be worried? Maybe so.

According to the release, “Tiger as the number one choice of female voters certainly earns his rank based on his history of high-profile infidelity. His divorce from Elin Nordegren got attention worldwide and is notorious as one of the most expensive break-ups the world has ever seen.”

Added Victoria Milan founder and CEO Sigurd Vedal in the release: “It makes perfect sense that golf captures the senses of cheaters! The quiet tension builds hole by hole until it's broken by wild applause, and the 19th hole parties are legendary. And, of course, the sport itself represents luxury and opulence. Our members are definitely going to be found in the British Open crowd!”

For the record, Tiger tees off in his latest pursuit for his 15th major (and first since the 2008 US Open, when he was still married) Thursday at 9:45 a.m. ET.

Here are the final results of the survey:

Tiger Woods 27%

Sergio Garcia 14%
Luke Donald 11%
Justin Rose 9%
Graeme McDowell 6%
Nicolas Colsaerts 3%
