SNOWBIRD, Utah (AP) Joe Dombrowski made a dominant move near the finish of Stage 6 in the Tour of Utah, riding solo to victory at Snowbird Ski Resort and assuming the overall lead Saturday.

The Cannondale-Garmin rider took advantage of an impressive performance by teammate Ben King to score one of the biggest victories of his young career. King was part of an early break before helping to usher Dombrowski to the finish.

He crossed the line a full minute ahead of Michael Woods, who fell to second in the overall standings with one stage left. Natnael Berhane finished the stage in third.

Former race leader Jure Kocjan withdrew before the stage with flu-like symptoms.
