Who should the OU back-up be?

We all have seen the impact Baker Mayfield has had on the Sooners this season.

But behind Mayfield is mystery.

Trevor Knight was the starter in 2014, but lost his job to Mayfield heading into this season. Meanwhile, Cody Thomas started three games last season for the Sooners when Knight was injured.

Knight asked for and was granted a full release from the Sooners and could possibly transfer when the season is over.

Earlier this week, coach Bob Stoops said Thomas has been promoted to second-team and Knight is now the third-teamer.
