What do Texas and Donald Trump have in common? Now a slogan

The University of Texas at Austin has always been viewed as a small blue dot in a giant red state. So it doesn't seem like the student body would share much in common with Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
Well, now it can -- a slogan.
A Texas alum and some friends have borrowed Trump's campaign slogan -- "Make America Great Again" -- and transferred it to their own ball cap to encourage their struggling Longhorns football program -- "Make UT Football Great Again."

Will Shoff, a 2015 graduate, is the brains behind the idea. He told the Austin American-Statesman that he's making the hat for laughs more than to bring in a few bucks.
“We thought our friends would want it and it would be funny,” Shoff said. “We’re not in this to make a quick buck and bail; we’re in it because we’re UT fans and we think it’s funny."
Shoff even said he's heard from a few fans from that other orange-wearing UT -- the University of Tennessee -- about using the hat as a slogan for the Volunteers, whose season of high hopes now sits at 2-2. The hat is being sold on crowd-funding website Tilt, at least until Texas gets its lawyers involved.
