Oklahoma running back Joe Mixon had himself a heck of a first half on Saturday. In fact, he did just about everything except rush for a touchdown.
Mixon took a pass from Sooners QB Baker Mayfield to the house in the first quarter – but not before hurdling a Kansas State defender (see video above).
And then Mixon threw a TD pass of his own, hooking up with Dede Westbrook for a 26-yard score in the second quarter.
Largely because of Mixon, the 19th-ranked Sooners took a 24-10 lead into halftime. On the second-half agenda: Return a punt/kick for a TD.
