The Texas A&M Aggies landed their second tight end of their 2016 recruiting class with the commitment of New Orleans, Louisiana native Irvin Smith.

Smith is listed at six-foot-four, 230-pounds and looks to add upon the ridiculous wealth of lengthy targets the Aggies' quarterbacks have had in the past and present and now look to have in the future with Smith's commitment.

According to his 247 Sports profile, Smith is currently ranked as a three-star prospect and holds scholarship offers from Alabama, Florida, LSU, Missouri, Michigan, Miami, TCU and Texas among many others.

The Aggies now have 13 players committed to their current recruiting class and look to sign yet another top nationally ranked class if they can keep their recruiting momentum moving forward.
