Shepard receives picture perfect honor from Bosworth

Senior night brings out all sorts of emotion.
And there was a pretty cool moment in Norman, Okla., at Memorial Stadium Saturday.
Check out this picture of senior receiver Sterling Shepard, who was on the field being recognized with the rest of the Sooner seniors and was then presented a photo of the 1985 national championship team by Brian Bosworth.

Bosworth was the starting linebacker on that team that beat Penn State in the Orange Bowl. So was Shepard's father Derrick, a receiver on the team, who died in 1999 from a heart attack. Shepard played in the NFL for Washington, New Orelans and Dallas.
Sterling is on his way to becoming an All-Big 12 receiver. He entered Saturday's game against TCU in the top four in school history in receptions, receiving yards, TD catches and 100-yard receiving games.
Shepard had eight catches for 111 yards and a touchdown Saturday in the 30-29 win over TCU.
