SEC fans vote Tiger Stadium as best place to go for a game

Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge might or might not have a faint aroma of corn dogs, depending whom you ask, but one thing it has for sure is the respect of fans throughout the SEC.

In a poll by SEC website Saturday Down South, Tiger Stadium was the runaway winner as the stadium in which the most people would want to watch a game. LSU's historic stadium received 28 percent of the vote, while Alabama's Bryant-Denny Stadium came in a distant second at 14 percent.

Tennessee's Neyland Stadium (12 percent), Texas A&M's Kyle Field (12 percent) and Georgia's Sanford Stadium (9 percent) rounded out the top five.

It's worth mentioning that SEC fans aren't the only ones who think highly of Tiger Stadium; Athlon conducted a media poll last year in which LSU also came in No. 1, and a similar ESPN poll last year of college coaches had Tiger Stadium voted as the most difficult place to play for opposing teams.
