Report: Tennessee freshman lineman Mosley arrested for DUI

Published Jul. 22, 2015 7:43 p.m. ET

The Tennessee Volunteers continue to stay in the news for the wrong reasons, as redshirt freshman Charles Mosley has reportedly been arrested on charges of DUI after being stopped for speeding.

According to Knox News, Mosley was stopped at 1:51 a.m. on Interstate 40 for speeding 24 miles over the speed limit. The arresting officer claims he could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle and found "marijuana residue" in the front passenger and back seat of Mosley's car.

No word has been released from the team on Mosley's status but it's safe to assume some harsh punishment will be coming to the 18-year old lineman.

Mosley has yet to play a down for the Volunteers after suffering a broken leg in a car accident before last season began and is most known for this amazing Tennessee haircut he used to announce his originally commitment to the Vols:

Here's hoping Mosley hasn't completely jeopardized his future with the Vols and is able to leave the program with more than just a snazzy haircut as his lasting legacy at Tennessee.
