Penn tops Columbia for 17th straight time, 21-7

Penn's defense allowed just 118 yards of total offense as the Quakers beat Columbia for the 17th straight time with a 21-7 win Saturday.
Columbia got the game's first points with a 6-yard touchdown run by Marcorus Garrett in the first quarter but that was all the scoring the Lions managed. Penn (3-2, 2-0 Ivy) tied the game with a 22-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Becker to Mitchell King in the second and took a 14-7 lead with a 12-yard touchdown pass from Billy Ragone to Ty Taylor shortly before halftime. Spencer Kulcsar added a 4-yard touchdown run in the fourth for the Quakers.
Columbia (0-5, 0-2) managed only 33 yards rushing and Kelly Hilinski went just 8-for-22 with 85 yards passing and an interception. The loss clinches Columbia's 17th consecutive season without a winning record.
