North Carolina A&T's Kwashaun Quick took over at quarterback in the second-half and ignited the Aggies' dormant offense to a 30-9 victory over Norfolk State on Saturday.

The Aggies (4-4, 2-3 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference) trailed 9-7 at the break, but Quick ran 29 yards for a touchdown on the opening drive of the second half for a 14-9 lead.

Aggies starting quarterback Lewis Kindle threw three first-half interceptions in a game marred by turnovers. Norfolk State's Jake Basmagian and Nico Flores threw two picks apiece, and the Spartans (2-7, 0-6) also gave up two fumbles while losing their seventh game in a row.

Ricky Lewis and Mike Mayhew scored second-half rushing touchdowns for the Aggies, whose defense held the Spartans to one first down in the second half.
