Muschamp continues to hit state hard; garners another local pledge
Since taking over as the head coach of the University of South Carolina, Will Muschamp has made it a point to recruit the state exceptionally hard.
I'm extremely blessed to announce my commitment for the next 4 years to The University of South Carolina ???? pic.twitter.com/GZAkl20Wzd

This premise is exemplified by the fact he's garnered pledges from four South Carolina-natives in less than a month. The latest in-state prospect to become a Gamecock is receiver Chavis Dawkins.
Prepping at famed Byrnes High School, Dawkins opted to become a member of South Carolina's 2016 class over offers from Louisville and North Carolina State.
The 6'2", 195-pound athlete is excited over the prospect of featuring for Muschamp's program.
"It is my dream school. I've always wanted to go to South Carolina," Dawkins told The State.
Dawkins becomes the 19th public commitment for the Gamecocks. He figures to compete for playing time as a true freshman in '16.
