Bryant Moniz set a Hawaii record and tied an NCAA mark by throwing seven touchdown passes in the first half against UC Davis on Saturday night.

Moniz threw four in the opening quarter and added three more scores in the second for the Warriors. The seventh touchdown was an 8-yarder to Royce Pollard that gave Hawaii a 49-0 lead with 3:57 left in the half.

The senior ties Florida's Doug Johnson (1997), Florida's Terry Dean (1994) and San Diego State's Dennis Shaw (1969) for the NCAA mark of touchdown passes in a half.

Moniz was 30 of 40 for 424 yards, which also set a school record for most yards passing in a half.
