LSU's Morris Claiborne wins Jim Thorpe Award

LSU's Morris Claiborne has won the Jim Thorpe Award as the nation's top defensive back.

The announcement was made during the College Football Awards show at Disney World. North Carolina State's David Amerson and Alabama's Mark Barron were the other finalists.

Claiborne is the second straight LSU player to win the Thorpe. Patrick Peterson won the award last year.
