Leonard Fournette shows how 'easy' he can squat some serious weight
The next time LSU running back Leonard Fournette tosses a defender over his back or drives someone into the ground, remember the video below.
On Tuesday, the Tigers' Heisman Trophy hopeful posted a clip of himself squatting four reps of 400 pounds with relative ease to Twitter (and Instagram), quoting Future's song "Never Forget" in the caption:
I had to take a lost so I could cherish this ish @1future 400 easy @LSUfball pic.twitter.com/C1MaFU2SEL

In case you're wondering how much more Fournette can lift, he once said he can squat 605 pounds.
The rising junior showed off his strength last year by rolling up no less than 150 yards on the ground in each of his first seven games of 2015. Fournette hit a roadblock vs. Alabama, however, when the Crimson Tide held the then-Heisman frontrunner to just 31 yards on 19 carries. But No. 7 was back to his old ways soon enough and ended the season strong with 212 yards rushing vs. Texas Tech in the Texas Bowl.
With another offseason of training under his belt, will we see an even more dominant Fournette in 2016? Perhaps, so long as a Louisiana budget crisis doesn't cost LSU its football season (which Governor John Bel Edwards said was a possibility last week). But if the Tigers do take the field, Fournette will be ready — and that's bad news for the rest of the SEC.
And it likely means more of this, too:
