Late-bloomer Geneo Grissom eager to show NFL team what he's got

Remember when Geneo Grissom played tight end? It seems like eons ago after he took off during his last two seasons at Oklahoma playing defensive end as a junior and linebacker as a senior.
That move might now be responsible for yet another Sooner making it in the NFL. Grissom isn't likely to hear his name called during Thursday night's first round or even Friday during the second and third rounds. The 6-foot-4, 262-pounder is expected to be a late-round pick, but one with a ton of potential to last in the NFL for years to come.
“There will be a lot of anxiety,” Grissom recently told the Tulsa World. “It’ll be exciting, but it will just be playing the waiting game … just trying to stay patient and see where I end up.”
And about those days playing tight end? During OU's pro day, Grissom not only worked out with the linebackers, but he also ran some pass routes to show NFL scouts and executives his versatility.
