Honors continue to pile in for Derrick Henry, named Maxwell POTW

The accolades continue to roll in for the Tide's latest offensive star as junior Derrick Henry has been named the first Maxwell Award Player of the Week following his performance against Wisconsin last weekend. 

Henry rushed for 147 yards on only 13 carries and scored three touchdowns in a 35-17 Alabama victory.

This award is only the latest to be thrown Henry's way as he was also named SEC Offensive Player of the Week and the National Offensive Player of the Week by the Football Writers Association of America this week.
