FSU Football Moves Up In Latest College Football Polls
After FSU football got a big win this weekend – and several major upsets took place across college football – the ‘Noles moved up in the polls on Sunday.
Every college football season, there is one week that just makes everyone shake their heads and ask “what the heck just happened?!?!?!” Week 11 of the 2016 college football season was that for fans across the country.
For the first time in 31 years, the teams ranked second, third and fourth all lost on the same day. Of course, in true fashion that shows why the CFB Playoff system is a joke, that means that two teams are currently ranked in the top four who will not even win their own conference division.
The latest Top 25 polls were released, as all three teams who lost in the top four find themselves still ranked in the top seven. Here’s the AP Top 10 and several notables:
No. 1 – Alabama (10-0)
No. 2 – Ohio State (9-1)
No. 3 – Louisville (9-1)
No. 4 – Michigan (9-1)
No. 5 – Clemson (9-1)
No. 6 – Wisconsin (8-2)
No. 7 – Washington (9-1)
No. 8 – Oklahoma (8-2)
No. 9 – Penn State (8-2)
No. 10 – West Virginia (8-1)
No. 14 – Western Michigan (10-0)
No. 17 – FLORIDA STATE (7-3)
No. 22 – Florida (7-2)
The Coaches Poll was pretty much the same, with one top 10 difference and more ACC love:
No. 1 – Alabama (10-0)
No. 2 – Ohio State (9-1)
No. 3 – Louisville (9-1)
No. 4 – Michigan (9-1)
No. 5 – Clemson (9-1)

No. 7 – Washington (9-1)
No. 8 – Oklahoma (8-2)

Of course, the one poll that matters from this point on is the College Football Playoff Top 25 – which will be released Tuesday night around 9 PM on ESPN.
