Former Gators Leak, Gaffney to enter Florida-Georgia HOF
Dubbed the "World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party" for its extravagant tailgating, the city of Jacksonville plays host to the awesome rivalry between Georgia and Florida.
On Oct. 31, both teams will travel to the Florida-Georgia border city and face off against each other in what should be a very competitive game.
During the weekend of the game, former Gators Chris Leak and Jabar Gaffney will be inducted into the Florida-Georgia Hall of Fame, along with former Georgia players Richard Seymour and Rex Robinson.
Leak was one of the most successful quarterbacks to ever play at Florida. He started for four years, won the 2007 BCS National Championship Game, was an excellent student, participated in numerous community programs, and shattered the record for most career passing yards in the process.
Gaffney (a Jacksonville native) was also highly productive during his time in Gainesville. He was a first-team All-American as a redshirt freshman, and also garnered those honors as a sophomore. Gaffney parlayed his strong play at Florida into a long career in the NFL.
The receiver's teams were undefeated versus Georgia during his time in college. Leak's teams were 3-1 versus the Bulldogs.
