Duke's Martin honored for second straight week

For the second week in a row Duke kicker Ross Martin was named the Lou Groza Star of the Week after his performance in the Blue Devils 44-3 victory over Army.

Martin, a senior, made field goals of 25, 25 and 40 yards and went 5-for-5 on extra points to help up Duke’s record to 5-1 (2-0 ACC).

It’s the third time in his career that Martin has received the honor.

Martin is the only kicker in the FBS to make 12 or more field goals without a miss, while his two made field goals per game ranks fourth nationally.
