Oregon State running back Jacquizz Rodgers said Monday he will enter the 2011 NFL draft, the university announced on its website.
"I've thought long and hard about this decision," said Rodgers, a junior. "I want to thank all of Beaver Nation for their support throughout my time here at Oregon State. Without all of that support I wouldn't be in this position."
The ethnic studies major was one of only three running backs in Pac-10 history to earn first-team All-Pac-10 honors for three straight years.
Rodgers had originally planned to return to school because his brother, wide receiver James Rodgers, was expected to play for a fifth year due to a knee injury in his past season, according to ESPN.
