POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. (AP) Will Bardo passed for two touchdowns and ran for another as Dayton forced seven turnovers and twice came from behind to defeat Marist 31-21 on Saturday.

Dayton (4-1, 2-0 Pioneer League) trailed 7-0 and 14-7 in the first quarter when Marist's Anthony Francis twice hooked up with Armani Martin for scoring passes. But in between the TDs, Francis threw the first of four interceptions. He was picked off by Zach Elias, who returned it to the 2, setting up Bardo's toss to Ian Palin one play later.

The Red Foxes (1-6, 1-3) held a slight edge in total yards (308-292) but were stalled by turnovers.

Dayton's William Will, kicking off in the second quarter after Bardo hit Ross Smith for a 21-14 lead, scooped up a fumble on the return and raced 26 yards to score - extending the lead to 28-14 in a span of 13 seconds.
