Alabama legacy Davis stays home, will play for Crimson Tide

Being the son of Alabama's all-time leading tackler Wayne Davis, how could Ben Davis not choose to stay in Tuscaloosa for his college ball?

On Wednesday morning, Davis did indeed make it official -- choosing to sign with Alabama over Auburn, Georgia, LSU, and Notre Dame.

Davis is one of the top prospects in the entire country. A prototypical middle linebacker, Davis has the athleticism, physicality, and instincts to impact Alabama's depth chart from the day he steps foot on campus.

The Crimson Tide's stellar day might not be over just yet. After landing Davis, Shyheim Carter, Jared Mayden, and Joshua Jacobs, Alabama is still in the mix for the likes of Mique Juarez, Devin Asiasi, and Mack Wilson.
