Yon, Air Force shoot past Nebraska-Omaha, 77-61

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) Max Yon pumped in 21 points and Marek Olesinski added another 16 as Air Force cruised past Nebraska-Omaha 77-61 Monday night.

Air Force now has won back-to-back games after dropping two in a row on the road at Colorado (68-53) and at Texas Tech (63-62). The Falcons are undefeated (4-0) at home.

The Falcons (5-3) shot a crisp 54 percent from the field (27-50) and knocked down 9 of 25 shots from behind the arc. Yon was 6 of 10 from the floor and knocked down 3 of 6 attempts from distance. Olesinski was 7 of 11 from the field and 2 of 6 from three-point range.

Mike Rostampour scored 17 points and grabbed a game-high eight rebounds to lead Omaha (3-4). C.J. Carter and Tre'Shawn Thurman added 12 and 11 points, respectively.

The two teams met for the fifth time, but the first since 1960.
