Xavier freshmen Jordan Latham and Jay Canty are transferring.
The school announced Friday that both will be going to another university. Both played limited roles last season, when the Musketeers won the Atlantic 10 regular season title for the fifth straight time, matching the league record.
Latham is a 6-foot-8 forward who played in 16 games and averaged 4.8 minutes and 0.5 points. Canty is a guard who played in 17 games, averaging 7.4 minutes and 1.5 points. Canty missed a dozen games because of a stress fracture in his right foot.
