Wyoming has signed a recruit with some professional basketball in his family history.
Larry Nance Jr., of Richfield, Ohio, will join the Cowboys for the 2011-12 season. He is coach Larry Shyatt's fifth recruit this spring.
Nance is the son of former NBA player Larry Nance, who played from 1981-94 with the Cleveland Cavaliers and Phoenix Suns.
Shyatt says the 6-foot-7, 205-pound Nance can be a multi-position player.

As a senior in high school, Nance averaged 18.2 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.0 blocks, 2.6 steals and 2.3 assists per game.
