Wofford wins 7th straight; 95-60 over Hiwassee

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (AP) Justin Gordon scored a career-high 18 points as Wofford won its seventh straight game, 95-60 over Hiwassee College on Monday.

Gordon, a sophomore, made all eight of his shot attempts for Wofford (14-10, 9-3 Southern). All 13 players scored for the Terriers, including 14 apiece for Karl Cochran and Spencer Collins.

Collins, averaging 13.6 points per game, was shutout in Saturday's 77-56 win against The Citadel.

Tyler Johnson scored 16 points for Hiwassee College, a member of the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA). The Tigers played 11 players and everybody scored.

Wofford shot 59.4 percent for the game, including 8 of 20 from 3-point range. The Terriers held a 33-20 advantage on the glass and outscored Hiwassee 52-16 in the paint. It was Wofford's highest scoring game of the season.

The game was originally scheduled for Tuesday, but was moved up because of inclement weather.
