Wofford 67, Furman 52

Karl Cochran scored 22 points and led Wofford to a 67-52 victory over Furman Saturday night in the regular-season finale for both teams.
The Terriers clinched the No. 2 seed in the Southern Conference North Division and a first-round bye in the conference tournament.
Before a sellout crowd, Wofford (19-12, 12-6) went on an 11-1 run in the first half to take a lead it never relinquished. Furman (14-15, 8-10) trailed 30-25 at halftime but never threatened in the second half.
Cochran's 22 points included four 3-pointers in six attempts - as many treys as Furman made as a team. The Paladins were just 4 for 18 from beyond the arc. Wofford was 11 of 22 from long range.
Like Cochran, Kevin Giltner - who scored 17 points - also hit four 3-pointers. Brad Loesing added 15 points.
Bryson Barnes led Furman with 14 points and Brandon Sebirumbi scored 13.
