Deonte Roberts scored six of his 17 points in overtime, leading Wisconsin-Milwaukee to a 90-83 win over Bowling Green on Saturday. Scott Thomas sank the last two of six straight Bowling Green free throws for an 80-79 lead with 2:38 left in overtime. But Jason Averkamp hit his second 3-pointer in the extra frame on Wisconsin-Milwaukee's next possession, sparking an 11-3 run to seal the win. The Panthers (5-2) outscored the Falcons 16-9 in overtime. James Eayrs scored 16 points, Ricky Franklin 13 and Lonnie Boga 11 for the Panthers, who hit 11 3-pointers in the game. Joe Jakubowski paced the Falcons (1-3) with 16 points. Jordon Crawford and Otis Polk added 13 points apiece, Erik Marshall had 12, Dee Brown 11 and Scott Thomas 10. The Panthers led by four points at the half, but the Falcons outscored them 43-39 in the second frame to force overtime.
