Wilson's 31 points helps Army beat Delaware 73-69

NEWARK, Del. (AP) Kyle Wilson had a career-high 31 points with six 3-pointers to lift Army past winless Delaware 73-69 on Wednesday night.

Wilson was 7 of 11 from the floor and 6 of 8 from beyond the arc. Kennedy Edwards scored 13 points and Kevin Ferguson had 12 points and three blocks for the Black Knights, who rebounded from their only loss, 93-73 to No. 4 Duke on Nov. 30.

Army (6-1) is off to its best start since the 1978-79 season when they were coached by Mike Krzyzewski. It was head coach Zach Spiker's 74th career victory at Army, moving him past Krzyzewski into fourth place all-time at the Academy.

Cazmon Hayes scored 14 points and Kory Holden had 13 points and four assists to lead Delaware (0-6). Chivarsky Corbett chipped in 11 points for the Blue Hens, who played their first home game.
