Wilson, Coastal Carolina beat Piedmont International 116-35

CONWAY, S.C. (AP) Elijah Wilson had 25 points and seven rebounds, Ron Trapps made five 3-pointers and finished with 17 points, and Coastal Carolina beat Piedmont International 116-35 on Saturday.

It was the second straight 100-plus scoring game for Coastal Carolina after a 104-67 win over Grace Bible on Wednesday.

Michel Enanga had 16 points and eight rebounds for Coastal Carolina (2-2). The Chanticleers made 61 percent of their field goals, including 13 of 31 3-pointers and won the rebounding battle 59-22.

Coastal Carolina opened the game with a 9-0 run and had a 16-0 run later in the first half. The Chanticleers led 60-11 at halftime and opened the second half by outscoring Piedmont 32-12.

Timothy Worles hit four 3-pointers and scored 18 points for Piedmont International. The Bruins were held to 12-of-61 shooting (20 percent).
